How do I place an order with Universal Publishing?
Place your order online, via mail, email, fax, or phone.
  • To place your order online, simply add items to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout by clicking on "My Cart" or "Checkout" at the top of the page. At this time, purchase orders are not accepted online. For more information on purchase orders, please click here.
  • To mail your order, simply download your order form, and then fax the completed form to 570-488-9750. Be sure to include your email address on the order form in order to receive your tracking information.
  • To place your order via email, attach your completed order form to an email and send it to Josh Wasylyk at Josh@upub.net.
  • To place your order via fax, click here to download your order form, and then fax the completed form to Universal Publishing, P.O. Box 3900 Waymart, PA 18472. Be sure to include your email address on the order form in order to receive your tracking information.
  • To place your order over the phone, call 1-800-940-2270 and a representative will gladly assist you.

What’s the difference between the Original Handwriting Series and the Second Edition Handwriting Series?
  • The Original Handwriting Series includes workbooks for grades Pre-K – 6.  The Second Edition Handwriting Series includes workbooks for grades Pre-K – 8.  
  • The Original Handwriting Series workbooks have 64 pages (72 in Book M/C).  The Second Edition Handwriting Series workbooks have 80 pages (64 in Book I).
  • The Second Edition Handwriting Series workbooks include dots that show where to begin each letter (in grades K-5).  The Original Handwriting Series workbooks do not.
  • In the Second Edition Handwriting Series workbooks, students write directly below word, joining, and sentence models to reinforce proper spacing.  In the Original Handwriting Series workbooks, students write next to the models.
  • Workbooks in both series include numbers and arrows on letter models to show the direction and sequence of strokes.  The Second Edition Handwriting Series workbooks also include detailed stroke descriptions with the letter models.
  • The Original Handwriting Series workbooks include screened models of manuscript letters, numbers, and words in grades K-2.  The Second Edition Handwriting Series workbooks include screened models of manuscript and cursive letters in grades K-8 and screened models of manuscript and cursive words in grades K-6.

Do you offer professional development?

Is there a bulk purchase discount?
We offer a bulk purchase discount on all of our workbooks when you order 10 or more of the same workbook.  High-volume purchases (school-wide, district-wide, etc.) of certain products may qualify for additional discounts.  Please call 1-800-940-2270 or email info@upub.net for more information.

What is your shipping/handling rate?
Our shipping and handling rate for orders within the continental United States is 10% on orders over $70.00 and $7.00 on orders $70.00 and under.  For orders outside the continental United States, please call 1-800-940-2270 for shipping rates and to place your order.

What shipping method do you use?
We use UPS to ship all of our products.

Do you accept school purchase orders?
We do accept school purchase orders; however, at this time, we are unable to accept them for online orders.  If you would like to use a school purchase order, please use one of the following methods to place your order:

Can I buy just one workbook, or is there a minimum quantity required?
Yes, you are welcome to buy just one workbook.  However, please note the price difference when ordering just one workbook, as we offer a bulk discount rate on orders of 10 or more of the same workbook.

Are you an approved vendor for my school?
Universal Publishing is an approved vendor in many school districts across the nation.  Please check with your school district to see if Universal Publishing is on the approved vendor list.  If it is not, we will be happy to provide any information necessary to be added to your school district’s approved vendor list; please call 1-800-940-2270 for assistance. Please note: we may be registered with your school district as Gutenburg, Inc., (our parent company) rather than Universal Publishing.
 
Do you offer delayed shipping & billing?
Yes, we offer delayed shipping and billing. When you place your order, simply let us know you would like your order to be shipped and when you would like to be billed for your order. Some restrictions apply.
